From the last post, I shared my experiences on how I started to regain my consciousness ‘waking up from the nightmare’. I had a lot of confusion, anxiety, and general disorientation. The ‘obvious’ seemed to be ‘rare’ to me but I am forever thankful for the gift of life.
Highlight…
I just want to point out from the statistics that “Ruptured brain aneurysms are fatal in about 40% of cases. Of those who survive, about 66% suffer some permanent neurological deficit.” These statistics are based on a sample collected in the US and reported by the Brain Aneurysm Foundation https://www.bafound.org/about-brain-aneurysms/brain-aneurysm-basics/brain-aneurysm-statistics-and-facts/ .
If you think about it, those are actually large numbers considering the fact that 1 in 50 people have unruptured brain aneurysm.
A very insightful and informative blog. Looking forward to learn more on brain aneurysm
